Your French property is a valuable asset. You have thought about putting it onto the rental market but are unsure where to begin. Start here !
The rental market in France is hugely buoyant. Around 80 million holiday-makers come to France every year and the demand for quality, self-catering houses gets stronger every year. With recent technology, there are almost endless possibilities for advertising your property so it can be a minefield for those new property owners wishing to maximise the potential of their property in what is certainly one of the most competitive markets in the world.
Pure France is here to make things simpler for you.
In such a competitive market, it's often the small things that convince rental clients to book your house rather than a property with one of our competitors.
From experience, we know that renters DO NOT LIKE (and more than often refuse) to pay supplementary fees for credit card bookings.
We agree! Which is why any holiday booked through Pure France is completely free from credit card charges.
Pure France is an independent, family-run business. We rent property in France, so it makes sense that we are based here. Understanding the market and keeping in close touch with our property owners and rental clients are the most important factors in the rental industry – an impossible task to achieve from distant offices outside of France. We have two offices between Carcassonne and Montpellier.
Your property is here in France so we are local to you. Always available to come and see you without having to make distant appointments. And we won't send a Regional Manager because we don't have any; either one of Pure France's qualified owners will be delighted to come and meet you and remain in constant communication with you during our working relationship.
We are qualified professionals, government-registered and financially bonded; we offer a financial guarantee for both property owners and rental clients. Any agency that you contact should have these credentials. More details
Provence : € 4,545 per week
We have been successfully marketing French rental properties since 2002. We started out with 38 small houses to rent, today we have an impressive portfolio of 400+ quality properties throughout France and business is growing on a daily basis.
Every house needs rental clients. Our marketing expertise brings almost unrivalled levels of occupancy. Regular national press ads and a comprehensive PR campaign ensure that your property is found on Pure France by potential rental clients. More importantly however, are the unprecedented Google rankings of any French property agency you'll find on the internet;
Our offices are open 365 days a year, from morning until late evening with English and French-speaking people to answer your emails and phone calls.
Rental clients can always speak personally to someone who has visited a property and who can respond in an informed manner. We offer credit card facilities with no fees, making the reservation process easier and less expensive than with other agencies.
Languedoc : € 2,150 per week
Loire Valley : € 4,895 per week
Ask some questions, make some comparisons. We have found agency commission as high as 50%, but it is more likely to be between 15% and 30%.
Some agencies will add their commission to your net rates. Sounds good, but this simply creates an unrealistic and overpriced tariff with the result that rental clients are almost impossible to find.
We have not changed our commission rate since we started business in 2002. We charge a strange looking fee of 11.96%. This is comprised of our standard commission of 10% plus French VAT.
Still, it amounts to considerably less than you will find elsewhere.
We can offer this rate for several reasons;
At this commission rate, there is no compromise on service. In fact, aside from our personal property visits and continuing market support and reservation facilities, we send a professional photographer to each property to ensure that it is looking its absolute best on the website.
Looking for qualified, professional, helpful advice ?
Let us know and we'll talk to you directly – either in person or via email if you prefer. And you won't be speaking to a designated regional manager, you'll be talking to me, Hugh Atkins, owner and director of Pure France.
Here's my phone number in France: 0033 612 97 84 70
and here's my email address: hugh@purefrance.com
If you work with Pure France, you are free to advertise your property anywhere else you wish.
We understand that you may like to work with other agencies, websites and maybe source clients privately as well. No problem at all. We will be delighted to work with your schedules and appreciate that you may wish to cast the net a bit wider to begin with. After a year, you will soon discover which advertising mediums work best for you.
As a property owner, you will always be able to speak directly to our reservations manager, our accounts office or either Dan or Hugh, the owners of the company. And if you'd like to see us personally, put the kettle on and we'll pop in when we're passing.
We hope that you now have an understanding of how we operate and what we can do for you. If you'd like more information, or an informal chat, contact us here.
We very much look forward to hearing from you.
