Set amongst the stunning Provençal countryside and gorges just beyond Grasse, the property is ideal for large parties looking for some calm and space, yet within reach of the beaches and the attractions of this wonderful region.

'La Maison de Calern' offers extensive and far-reaching views over the surrounding, spectacular countryside and quiet seclusion, away from the busy towns. The local town of Gréolières, just 4 km away has all amenities, including 4 restaurants, a bakery, newsagent and a supermarket. Delivery of daily bread and croissants etc can easily be arranged.

Less than 30 min away is Grasse, the famous perfume capital of the world with further amenities and attractions.
Mediterranean beaches in Cannes just 45 min away.

Accommodation is spacious (it's a very big house!); spread out over three floors. All bedrooms are recently renovated to a very high standard and all have ensuite bathrooms.

A professional kitchen allows for some serious cooking and memorable feasts - local produce available in the markets and traditional food shops.

The property is located in open countryside, approx 30 min north of Grasse and 4 km from the picturesque village of Gréolières including 4 restaurants, a bakery, newsagent and a supermarket. Delivery of daily bread to the property can be simply arranged.

Stunning scenery in nearby Gorges du Loup.

Grasse has all amenities including café bars, restaurants, supermarket, specialist shops etc. Many perfumeries to visit and create your own perfume!

The old town ("vieille ville") is large, old, and extremely interesting. Tiny streets wind forever between the 17th and 18th century buildings, up and down ancient steps, passing through arched tunnels and sometimes opening out onto large squares.

The principal square near the top of the old town is the Place aux Aires, with a daily market of flowers and regional foods. A pretty, three-tiered fountain splashes in the center of the flowers, and arcades line one long side.

To the south, only 45 km away, is the city of Cannes with its yachts, fine-sand beaches and luxury shopping.

World renowned for its glitzy exterior, Cannes is also a place of great cultural heritage. On a small hill above the port of Cannes is "le Souquet", Cannes' oldest quarter. During the 11th Century this was inhabited by the monks from Îles de Lerins after their island was raided by Saracens. Watch towers now provide views over the Mediterranean.

Whether it is glitz and glamour, shopping or culture you are looking for, you will find it all in Cannes.

Nearby Antibes (Cap d'Antibes & Juan-les-Pins) is located on the Mediterranean coast, between Cannes and Nice. It is the third largest town on the Côte d'Azur. Its name comes from the Greek 'Antipolis' which means 'opposite' (here, facing the city of Nice).

• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).
• Pool heated to max 28°c.
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
• Security deposit of £300 or 500 Euros cash payable to the housekeeper upon arrival. Fully refundable (if no damages or breakages) prior to departure.
• No smoking in the property.
