Some days start badly and just get worse...
This weekend was the Fête de St Pierre when red and blue teams compete at water jousting in the harbour. Remaining dry is not an option.
For viewers in black and white, this is the red team
Rowing simply isn't rowing without RayBans
Jousters lose marks if they lance an opponent other than on the shield
Jousters are rarely small people. It's much harder to dislodge heavy opponent
The winner is the last man standing...standing in the boat, that is. Standing outside the boat is called "swimming"
At the end, the last man standing who has pitched the most opponents into the drink, becomes the winner.
