The village of Fontiès d'Aude (population 369) lies 15 mins east of Carcassonne, close to the canal du Midi.
All amenities (supermarket, café etc) in Trèbes, 5 min.

Beautiful wine areas of the Minervois, Cabardes, Corbieres and the sparkling Blanquette de Limoux.

The local markets are plentiful and colourful, inspiring for those hot days and warm summer evenings.

All outdoor activities are available in and around the area: tennis, golf, fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, horse riding, bicycle hire, helicopter trips, skateboarding, go-carting and rambling.

The medieval city of Carcassonne, a fascinating world heritage site, a lively evening destination with dozens of cafes and restaurants and outdoor live music during the summer months.

The fireworks in the city on Bastille Day are renowned throughout France.

The Canal du Midi, another world heritage site, meanders through the centre of Carcassonne flowing out to the Mediterranean Sea providing gentle boating for all.

The Mediterranean with its wonderful seaports and great seafood restaurants, tax-free Andorra, Spain and the Pyrenees are just a short drive away.

Terms & Conditions

• * Sterling & Dollar rates are provided ONLY as a guide - all rentals are payable in EUROS.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach towels).
• Please note electricity is not included October to end April.
• Security bond of 250 Euros cash payable to the owner on arrival.
• No smoking in the property.
