Map & local information

The property is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by vineyards between Narbonne and Béziers. More precisely, the hamlet is midway between the villages of Coursan and Nissan. There are all amenities in both these villages and Mediterranean beaches are just 15 minutes to the south.

A bread van visits the hamlet everyday.

The village of Nissan is recommended by most guide books as a 'must-see'. Fabulous Roman remains at the famous Oppidum d'Ensérune.

Glorious Med beaches are nearby. Long sandy stretches, super child-friendly and all water sports are catered for. Many beach side cafés and restaurants.

Lovely walks and boat hire along the Canal du Midi with its delightful shaded tow-path.

Endless opportunities for wine tasting and a huge choice of fabulous restaurants in the locale.

Hypermarkets and excellent shopping in both Béziers and Narbonne. Cultural events and traditional markets.

Historic Cathar trail with many castles to visit.

The Spanish border lies just 55 minutes away.

Terms & Conditions

• * Sterling & Dollar rates are provided ONLY as a guide - all rentals are payable in EUROS.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 5pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels.
• Please note; Railway line approx 150m away.
• The property is surrounded by vineyards and the grape harvest begins in early September.
• During this month (September only), the grapes will be harvested and there may be farm machinery operating in the vineyards during the day. For some people, this may be a nuisance, for others it may be quite charming and an interesting insight into the production of local wine!
• Beach towels can be hired on site at 10 Euros per person per week.
• Please note electricity and heating are not included November to end April.
• Security bond of 300 Euros cash is payable to the owner on arrival - Refundable on departure.
• No smoking in the property.
