Local Information

The 'Domaine des Capitelles' private residence is situated on the hilltop above Fitou with spectacular, panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea and its coastline.

The charming village of Fitou is 22 km north of Perpignan (RyanAir airport) and 30m km south of Narbonne.
The village itself nestles in a small valley and is world famous for its 'Appellation Controlée' red wine.
There are numerous wine producing outlets in the village (3 min from the Domaine) as well as charming café, newsagents, small grocery store and choice of fantastic traditional restaurants.

Choose from many Mediterranean beaches, and there is also the opportunity to stop at the famous oyster shacks.

Fantastic area for windsurfing and sightseeing; follow the historical Cathar trail or spend the day across the border in Spain (30 min away).

Things to do and see include:
- Fitou village has tennis courts, football stadium, petanque and children's play areas.
