Local Information
The property is located 3 km from the busy village of Coursan, between Béziers and Narbonne, 15 mins from the Mediterranean coast.
The property lies in a secluded location, along a single-lane road that is surrounded by vineyards. The house is part of an old wine domain, but is detached with private grounds.
Coursan has all amenities, including large supermarket, bakery, newsagent, chemist, café bars and several restaurants.
Famous Languedoc vineyards surround the area and lead down to the beautiful Mediterranean coast only 15 mins away. Choose from lively, resort-style beaches or quiet and secluded sandy stretches. Plenty of waterside cafés and restaurants and all water sports are catered for. Fantastic, beachside, traditional market during the summer months.
Lovely walks all around the property, through the vineyards and along the lanes. Possibly the best walk (or bike ride) is along the nearby, shaded tow-path of the Canal du Midi. Many canal-side respites serving chilled rosé wine with BBQ lunches.
Endless opportunities for wine tasting and a huge choice of fabulous restaurants in the area.
