The property is located at the end of a no-through road in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village of Montbrun-des-Corbières.
The village (population 293) is situated 10 minutes from Lezignan-Corbières, between Carcassonne and Narbonne.
Convenient motorway exit (sortie number 25) is 10 min away, while the nearest Mediterranean beaches are at Narbonne Plage and Gruissan, 30 min.
1 min walk from the property to the centre of medieval Montbrun with its small grocery store and auberge restaurant.
Small café bar. Wine-tasting at private domaines in the village.
Further good choice of shops and restaurants and café bars in neighboring villages of Conilhac and Escales.
Escales (2 min) has the nearest bakery, excellent restaurant at Conilhac (5 min).
Supermarket and all amenities in Lezignan-Corbières. Traditional street market on Wednesday mornings.
Lovely walks along the shaded tow-path of the nearby Canal du Midi (made famous by TV chef, Rick Stein).
