The property is located in secluded countryside 20 minutes south of Carcassonne and only 5 miles from the beautiful town of Limoux.

Spectacular views all the way down to the Pyrenees. Riding stable 1 min.

Tennis court to hire in St Martin de Villereglan, 2 min.

Bakery in the hamlet of Cépie, 2 min drive.

All amenities including supermarket, café bars and traditional restaurants in Limoux, 10 min drive. Limoux is a charming and very picturesque town with lovely central square. The town is famous for its sparkling wine, second only to Champagne...and a fraction of the price!

Carcassonne with almost endless activities; superb restaurants and café bars, concerts, festivals, medieval shows, sound and light displays.

18 hole golf course with club-hire and driving range.

Beautiful countryside for walking or hiking. Canal du Midi with its shady tree-lined tow-path ideal for cycling and long waterside lunches at local auberges and restaurants. Many historic sites to see including the famous Cathar trail. Visit St Hilaire 8km with its ancient abbey, part of the Cathar trail.

Visit the domains of the famous Minervois and Corbieres appellations. Gastronomic delights everywhere. Famous chef, John Burton Race filmed his TV series 'French Leave' in the area.

Mediterranean beaches lie just 60 minutes away. Long sandy beaches at Narbonne Plage with excellent opportunities for water sports and windsurfing.

The Spanish border is just 90 minutes away.

• * Sterling & Dollar rates are provided ONLY as a guide - all rentals are payable in EUROS.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (including pool towels but not beach towels), and 3 hours maid service per week.
• Pool open May 1st - end of September. Extended periods by request.
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
• No smoking in the property.

"We recently spent two weeks at the Nerige, with six other friends. The whole place has been beautifully decorated with bright, fresh colours, along with the two, lavishly supplied kitchens.
Most of the bedrooms have their own sitting room and full ensuite bathroom. We had the yellow bedroom which overlooked the courtyard and the mountains.
The inside of the Nerige is truly as attractive as the pictures on the
website. There are two large sitting rooms, including a big screen TV.
The outdoor pool and dining area are well maintained and a joy to use.
The very generous sized patio, overlooking the Pyrenees, is wired for sound and can be lit up at night, for outdoor dining and dancing.
Sandie suggested, one night, that we try a local restaurant, call "GAYDA". If you stay at the Nerige, you must go to the Gayda for dinner. On Sunday night they will present you with a truly gourmet meal, plus all the wines to compliment the five star meal, and all for around 25 Euros per head. (We went three times.) Everything you need for a fabulous holiday is provided at the NERIGE. You'll love it."
