The property is located in open countryside on the edge of the village of Laurabuc, 10 min from Castelnaudary and 20 min from Carcassonne.

Excellent, free tennis courts in Laurabuc.

All amenities in nearby hilltop town of Villasavaray. Further shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants in Castelnaudary.

Carcassonne has something for all the family. The fortified city is the obvious main attraction. Many restaurants, cafés and bars and artisan shops. Guided tours of the ramparts and castle and lots of cultural events including fireworks and medieval spectaculars throughout the summer.

Lake Ganguise (25 min) for windsurfing, boat hire, pedaloes, sailing etc.

Lagrasse 25 min is one of the most beautiful villages in France and offers spectacular scenery and a huge choice of restaurants for a memorable night out. Good shopping also.

Mediterranean beaches 70 min which stretch from Montpellier down to the Spanish border.
Wonderful sandy beaches with tasteful entertainments and beachfront restaurants and cafés.
The 'Etang de L'Ayrolle' offers some of the best windsurfing in Europe.
