The property is located in the village of Malras, 5 min outside Limoux, 30 min south of Carcassonne. Limoux has all shops, supermarket, many café bars and restaurants and a delightful central square.

The town is famous for its 'Blanquette' - a serious rival for Champagne, at a fraction of the cost!

Carcassonne 30 min for Ryanair airport, fantastic fortified city and cultural events, restaurants and golf. Lagrasse 30 min is one of the most beautiful villages in France and offers spectacular scenery and a huge choice of restaurants for a memorable night out. Good shopping also.

Mediterranean beaches 70 min which stretch from Montpellier down to the Spanish border. Wonderful sandy beaches with tasteful entertainments and beachfront restaurants and cafés. The 'Etang de L'Ayrolle' offers some of the best windsurfing in Europe.

Wine tasting everywhere, numerous private caves and roadside vendors. Beautiful vineyards (Corbieres, Minervois and Fitou) and impressive valleys and rivers.

Don't miss the Canal du Midi for walking and cycling. Lake swimming and rafting just north of Carcassonne. Enjoy the natural springs at Aix-les-Bains and treat yourself to an extravagant lunch across the Spanish border. Or venture to Barcelona (2hrs 30 mins) for a long weekend.

• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels, (not beach towels).
• 2 cots and 2 high chairs available.
• Pool open May 1st - end of September.
• Extended periods by request.
• No smoking in the property.
