Local Information

The property is located in a very small residential area just outside the village of Embres-et-Castelmaure, 24 km from the coast between Perpignan and Narbonne.

5 min walk to the village with a good-sized grocery and general store and bakery and tennis court.

Further amenities in Durban, 5 min or lots of beach café bars and restaurants at the coastal towns of Leucate and La Franqui Plage (25 min).

Fitou (20 min) nestles in a small valley and is world famous for its 'Appellation Controlée' red wine. There are numerous wine producing outlets in the village (3 min from the Domaine) as well as charming café, newsagents, small grocery store and choice of fantastic traditional restaurants.

Choose from many Mediterranean beaches, and there is also the opportunity to stop at the famous oyster shacks.

Fantastic area for windsurfing and sightseeing; follow the historical Cathar trail or spend the day across the border in Spain (30 min away).
