Renovated throughout with high quality furnishings, the château offers spacious and traditional accommodation over two floors with 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms to sleep up to 17.

The château is located in the countryside north of Castelnaudary, midway between Carcassonne and Toulouse, close to the villages of Labastide d'Anjou and Soupex.

Local village has 3 restaurants, bakery and butcher.
All amenities in Castelnaudary (less than 15 min) with many restaurants, café bars and supermarket.

Lake Ganguise (30 min) for windsurfing, boat hire, pedaloes, sailing etc. Lac St Ferreol, 25 min.

Mediterranean beaches 90 min which stretch from Montpellier down to the Spanish border. Wonderful sandy beaches with tasteful entertainments and beachfront restaurants and cafés. The 'Etang de L'Ayrolle' offers some of the best windsurfing in Europe.

Wine tasting everywhere, numerous private caves and roadside vendors. Beautiful vineyards (Corbieres, Minervois and Fitou) and impressive valleys and rivers. Visit the town of Limoux for its famous sparkling wine.

Don't miss the Canal du Midi for walking and cycling. Lake swimming and rafting just north of Carcassonne. Enjoy the natural springs at Ax-les-Thermes and treat yourself to an extravagant lunch across the Spanish border. Or venture to Barcelona (2hrs 30 mins) for a long weekend.

Fantastic and spectacular scenery along the Côte Vermaille and the lovely beach resorts and harbour at Collioure and Banyuls.

• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).
• Throughout the property and seen in many of the photos are paintings and artwork. Please note that these will not necessarily be present during the rental period. These items DO NOT form part of the contractual content of the property.
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
