Carcassonne 40 min for Ryanair airport, fantastic fortified city and cultural events, restaurants and golf. Lagrasse 40 min is one of the most beautiful villages in France and offers spectacular scenery and a huge choice of restaurants for a memorable night out. Good shopping also.

Mediterranean beaches 75 min which stretch from Montpellier down to the Spanish border.
