Introduction

A superb opportunity to come and stay on a beautiful wine estate set in 175 acres of vines, olives, pines, lavender fields, just 15 minutes outside Carcassonne.

Two adjacent properties (Farmhouse & Manor House) have been completely modernised and upgraded using traditional, high quality materials. The properties can each accommodate 8 to 10 people in comfort or combine both for a group of up to 20 visitors.

Beautifully restored, the properties have many original features; beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, colourful Languedoc tiles and an old stone staircase. Accommodation is spread over the two properties; red house with open-plan living and dining room and kitchen, cabled Wi-Fi internet and utility room. Two first floor bedrooms and three second floor bedrooms all with air-conditioning.

The blue house is air-conditioned throughout with ground floor living accommodation and four bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.

Stunning outside space with two private swimming pools; adult pool 14 x 6m and children's pool 6 x 4m with sun terraces and pool-side summer kitchen and dining area.

Lovely setting amongst the Languedoc vineyards - there are many local villages with all amenities. Carcassonne, 15 min away has the famous, not-to-be-missed old citadel castle with many restaurants, cafés, shops and summer events for all ages.

Great choice of restaurants and excellent, shaded walking along the nearby Canal du Midi.
