The town of Limoux dates back to the 14th century. It is located in the countryside on the banks of the Aude river, 24 miles to the south of Carcassonne.

The property is located in the heart of Limoux, a two minute walk across the bridge to the picturesque square with all shops and cafés and restaurants.

Limoux is the hub of production of 'Blanquette', a sparkling wine made using the 'méthode champenoise'. A delightful substitute for Champagne at a fraction of the cost.

Carcassonne is within easy reach and absolutely not to be missed. The fortified city is host to a huge range of cafés, bars, restaurants and summer concerts and festivals including medieval jousting and spectacular 'sound and light' shows with fireworks.

• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4:00pm to Saturday 10:00am.
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
• No smoking in the property.
• Bookings include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).
• Please note that there are areas of the garden and property with unprotected drops. The stairs are uneven original stonework without a handrail. The property perhaps not recommended for the elderly and infirm or for toddlers and infants. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.
• ** These weeks include a Tour de France start stage in Limoux, within walking distance of the house and the Limoux annual Bastille Day celebrations and fireworks display which takes place directly in front of the garden giving you the best vantage point in the village for a spectacular show!
