The property boasts far reaching views over the valley towards the small village of Gagnac-sur-Cere and is the last in a small cluster of houses, with no passing traffic.

Nearby Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne with all amenities is a picturesque medieval market town on the banks of the River Dordogne. It boasts the Romanesque Abbey of St Pierre and the architecture of many of its houses dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

The area is often referred to as La Riviera Limousine due to its mild climate, and this together with the many local attractions makes the property an ideal base for discovering all this beautiful region has to offer.

The property is situated in a small hamlet in open countryside, 5 min from Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne in the stunningly beautiful Corrèze region next to the Dordogne area.

Just south of Limoges in the Limousin, the Correze lies on the upper reaches of the River Dordogne and offers the chance to enjoy some beautiful unspoilt countryside.

The local medieval town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne has a colourful twice weekly market, a large supermarket, several banks, specialist shops and quality restaurants offering duck, a local speciality and the famous Limousin beef.

The area boasts several of France’s most beautiful villages including: Collonges la Rouge with its distinctive red stone buildings, Turenne, Curemonte, Autoire, Loubressac and Rocamadour, a natural and religious site perched high on a rocky plateau and famous for its cheese.

Other places of interest are St Cere which hosts an annual music festival in the summer and the large town of Brive le Gaillarde with its medieval centre and colourful Saturday market. There are numerous chateaux and superb natural heritage sites dotted throughout the region.
