Pure France - Holiday rental homes and villas in France

New Blog - the first entry

Introducing the new Pure France blog

A friendly welcome from all of us at Pure France to our new blog.

After much deliberation, we have decided to call it ‘Our Day-To-Day Life From Here In France’. When we started planning the blog, we looked around at many corporate blogs, both in the travel industry and in other sectors. With a few exceptions, we found most company blogs boring. Their content simply a softened selling tool composed (and seldom updated) because a decision-maker-in-the-company saw that everyone was doing this blog thing and the bandwagon should be jumped on. And the blogs from most French holiday companies ? Written of course from offices in England.

So how will the Pure France blog be different ? Presumably, everyone who is reading this has an interest in France; its holiday destinations, the culture, the history, the food, the wine etc. Well, so do we. So much so that we all live here full-time. At some point in the last 25 years, everyone here in the office has done what many dream to do, and up-sticked from the UK to move here to the south of France. This is with the exception of Lucie who joined our happy team last year. Lucie is born-and-bred in this lovely land and has no intention of leaving.

All of us will be contributing regularly to the blog on a variety of subjects, all concerned with life here in France. And there will be many contributions from friends, colleagues and industry professionals and experts. We also hope that our clients and blog readers will submit their comments and share stories and experiences in France.

To begin, expect to find blog articles about interesting everyday life here in France, places to visit, cultural events, amusing & interesting news stories, our travels around the country, rental properties and the rental industry, food and of course…wine.

We’ll also be keeping you up-to-date with the wonderful properties that we are constantly adding to our listings. We’re on the road every week, exploring the back-lanes of the countryside, the expanses of the vineyards, and the coastal roads of the Cote d’Azur meeting new owners and photographing fantastic properties. There are inevitably interesting stories associated to every trip and every property that don’t appear in the selling pages of our website.

Our aim is to humanize corporate blogging and we look forward to sharing our experiences with you.

With best regards from the PureFrance team;
