Introduction

This 200 year old property is set in a peaceful rural location within a small hamlet with stunning views over the countryside.

The authentically converted farmhouse, with gated entrance, is built of local stone with many beams throughout.

The comfortable accommodation provides 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Private pool 10 x 5m with sun terrace; parasols and sun loungers.

The wisteria- clad terrace provides the perfect setting for breakfasts al fresco and evening barbecues. Lawned garden and private drive.

The Perigord region is famous for its castles, historic sites and gastronomy including the black truffle, fois gras and the local wines.

Activities include boating, horse riding, golf at Bergerac and Perigueux (30 minutes). From the house there are many delightful walks through the forest and countryside where wildlife abounds such as deer, wild boar etc.

Supermarkets, restaurants, post office and bakery are 5 min drive away at Neuvic and the market town of Mussidan is 15 mins for a large selection of shops and restaurants.

Perigeuex, the capital of the Dordogne, is 30 minutes by car. There are local street markets everyday of the week.

Perhaps the most famous of the Dordogne tourist attractions are the cave paintings around Les Eyzies. There are more pre-historic caves in this area than you could ever visit in a day!

Nearby Lac Jemaye is one of several lakes in the area offering a beach, children’s playground, nature trails, canoeing and pedaloes. With picnic area, restaurant and snack bar.
