This lovely farmhouse, set in 40 acres of Dordogne countryside, has been fully restored from an old house and barn originally built in 1888 to a comfortable, spacious home.
It has maintained the original French influences whilst encompassing all the modern comforts.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there is peace and tranquility in abundance, although within easy distance of Bergerac and Eymet which offer all amenities with supermarkets, bakeries, café bars and restaurants and lots of historical and cultural attractions

Quality accommodation throughout, spread over two floors with many original features, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Ground floor with fully equipped kitchen, utility room, dining room, living room with UK satellite TV, games room with Wi-Fi internet and double bedroom and bathroom.

Four further double bedrooms on the first floor (two with ensuite bathrooms) and large, family bathroom.

The property is situated in 40 acres of private grounds in a small hamlet between Eymet, 11 km, Castllonnès, 8 km and Bergerac, 15 km.

All amenities in nearby Eymet; supermarkets, boulangeries, butchers, café bars and restaurants etc. Farmers' market with the ripest of fruits and freshest of produce.

Bergerac only 15 min away with hypermarket and lovely, historical centre with winding streets and many restaurants.

Ideal base for visits to the Dordogne valley with its world famous pre-historic cave paintings, caverns and pre-historic cliff dwellings as well as the romantic medieval chateaux of the Dordogne and the 'Bastide' towns (fortified market towns) which remain largely as they were 600 years ago.

Canoeing, or drifting down the Dordogne River, stopping for a picnic at La Roque-Gageac, a stunningly beautiful village under the towering cliffs, is unmissable.

World renowned wine tasting is available locally in the Duras, Sauterne, Marmande, Bergerac and Monbazillac areas as well as in Graves and the picturesque medieval town of Sainte-Emillion.

Bordeaux, with its opera house, art galleries, museums, shops and the lovely broad sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are little more than an hour away. Moreover, Biarritz, located further south on the Atlantic coast, is still within striking distance of a day-trip.
