Local Information
The property is located on the edge of a hamlet, midway between Quissac and Anduze. All amenities in both these towns (less than 10 min drive) including bakeries, restaurants, café bars and grocery stores.
Mediterranean beaches lie just over an hour away. Lovely beaches and the Camargue to discover. Stunning walled city of Aigues-Mortes (see photo) with all shops and superb restaurants.
Major town of Nimes (40 min) has wonderful Roman amphitheatre which hosts many summer, cultural events. All shops, and interesting winding streets with traditional restaurants and artisan stores.
Montpellier (less than 1 hour to centre) has superb, pedestrian area with numerous pavement cafés and restaurants. Historical sites, traditional street markets and chic shops. A fabulous place.
Uzès (45 min) has one of the best street markets in the south of France and many restaurants.
Alès, (30 min) with all major shops and supermarkets.
Don't miss the Pont di Gard, only an hour away.
Surrounding the property are endless vineyards - this is superb wine-producing country and there are almost too many places to taste and buy the local produce. Ask the property owners to reveal their preferences !
