The property is located 5 min from Alès.
Small village of St Jean (1.6 km) has basic amenities; boulanger bakes excellent bread, and also sells delicious local fruits and vegetables, groceries and newspapers. The village also has a pharmacy and a doctor. There are a few tennis courts in the village; visitors just need to book a court from the local Mairie or town hall.

There are many local markets, featuring delicious local produce as well as pottery and crafts. At some point between June and September, almost all the local villages host a fete votive - a local festival, complete with music, dance, food, drink, stalls, and entertainment for all generations lasting to the small hours.

Alès has all shops and supermarkets and many restaurants and café bars.

Superb countryside all around with wine domaines and pretty villages to discover.

• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not pool towels).
• Mid-stay cleaning available. Please arrange on arrival with house managers. Payable locally.
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
• No smoking in the property.

"You will find the Villa Auzes exactly as it is described - there is no sleight of hand in any of the description. It is a beautiful house, spacious and light, with its distinctive Provencal style. The pool is perfect and there is plenty of space for sitting out of doors - surrounded by gorgeous well-tended plants and lawn.
