This beautifully renovated, traditional Château dates back to the early 1800s and offers high quality holiday accommodation with 9 acres of private grounds, stunning views and private swimming pool.

The Château is set in open countryside, above the delightful market town of Marciac (2 km away) with all amenities including supermarket, bakery, 3 café bars, 8 restaurants and weekly street market.

Superbly equipped kitchen with range cooker and further oven and hob. Doors open to rear garden terrace, ideal for breakfast or a shaded lunch.

4 first-floor bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.
Two of the bedrooms are ideal 'family rooms'; one with three single beds, the other with a double and a single.
Maximum sleeps number of 10.

Lovely, sweeping private drive leads up the property.
The 9 acres of private grounds include large lawns and woodland areas. Great for playing and exploring.
Stunning views over the surrounding countryside down to the spectacular Pyrenees mountains.

Catering services are very flexible according to requirements. Full or part catering for breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.

The Gers region is an ideal location for all year round activities, such as golf weekends, cookery courses, painting classes, cycling or walking tours, horse riding, armagnac or wine tastings, antique hunting and farmers markets.
Or take the easy route over the Pyrenees in a hot air balloon!
For the more adventurous there’s quad biking, rafting and canoeing, or try your hand at flying lessons.

Discreet, charming property managers live in private, independent accommodation and are available for help and advice only if required. They will be happy to arrange all cleaning / maid service / catering / baby-sitting requirements.

The Château is situated in open countryside on a south-facing hill, 2 km from the lovely, market town of Marciac.

All amenities in the town including 8 restaurants, 3 café bars, bakery, grocery store and numerous other shops.

75 miles /120 km from airport to Marciac, one and a half hour drive.

Daily flights into Pau - Ryanair from Stansted, and several Air France flights from Paris. 35 miles / 60 km from Pau airport to Marciac, 60 minute drive.

Bordeaux, 140 miles / 225 km approx 3 hours drive. Biarritz, on the Atlantic Coast, 100 miles / 160 km, approx. 2 hours drive. Northern Spain border towns, 50 miles / 80 km, approx. 1hours drive.
San Sebastian 140 miles / 225 km, approx. 3 hours drive.

• * Sterling & Dollar rates are provided ONLY as a guide - all rentals are payable in EUROS.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).
• Neither Pure France nor the property owner are liable for any loss or interruption of internet service.
• Security deposit of £500 or 500 Euros cash payable to the house manager upon arrival. Fully refundable (if no damages or breakages) prior to departure.
• No smoking in the property.

Long, lingering breakfasts on the terrace after an early morning dip in the pool was a great way to start the day before setting off to discover the delights of the surrounding area. The position is good for touring south-west France and the nearest village (Marciac) had plenty of restaurants/bars/interesting shops clustered around a wonderful old square.
