With either the Mediterranean beaches or the mountains of the beautiful National Park, just 20 minutes away, it is a perfect base from which to explore the region.
River sports, canoeing, walking and riding are all available locally.

Main Entrance. Small lobby leading to the living area
Lounge - a large area with plenty of room to relax, a leather sofa and chairs and beautiful views of the pool and garden. Equipped with a television and stereo
Dining Area - dividing the lounge and the kitchen and providing access to the bedrooms. It also has a double sofa bed allowing the accommodation to sleep 10 if required
Kitchen - fully equipped with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, hob and oven and fridge freezer. It is open to the dining area and also has a breakfast bar
Bedroom 1 - this large double bedroom has and a large built in wardrobe with en-suite shower facilities, hand basin and WC. It also opens directly to the side of the property and the gardens
Bedroom 2 - a double bedroom with a large picture window providing lovely views of the pools and garden with en-suite shower facilities, hand basin and WC. Also with direct access to the pool area and terraces
Bedroom 3 - a comfortable double bedroom with fitted wardrobe
Bedroom 4 - 2 single beds and wardrobe
Separate bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC
Separate bathroom - a large family bathroom with bath and 2 hand basins and WC
EXTERIOR:
The mature garden has many sunny or shady areas to relax and large areas of grass. Sun chairs and ample outside seating are provided
The pool size is 9x5 metres. The pool is set close to the house with terraced areas for relaxation or dining. Shady areas can be found beneath numerous small trees surrounding this area

Local Information
Creissan facilities include an Alimentaire (Grocer's shop) with butcher's counter and fresh vegetables, a Boulangerie (Bakery) for fresh bread, excellent patisserie and chocolaterie, a small local Bar, Newsagents / Tabac, Post Office, Florist and Hairdresser. Market day is Tuesday.
Capestang / Puisserguier. Both are small market towns within 5 miles of Creissan with shops, bars and restaurants. Market days are Sunday in Capestang and Friday in Puisserguier. There is a small "Intermarché" supermarket in Capestang. There are excellent restaurants in both these towns.
St Chinian 10 km from Creissan and the centre of the winegrowing area. It also has an excellent Sunday market and an "Ecomarché" supermarket.
Murviel les Béziers. 15 km from Creissan but with the best local supermarket - "Super U".
Béziers - just 30 minutes drive from Creissan, it is the nearest large town. An attractive town full of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. "Allées Paul Riquet" is the magnificent central walkway, which is dominated by Béziers Theatre and host to a flower market every Friday.
There are many stylish boutiques and shops down the small streets just off Allées Paul Riquet and also "out of town" shopping on the outskirts with a "Hypermarket"- Géant- and other shops.
Béziers has its own Arts and music festivals and of course is host to the famous "Feria" - a week-long bullfight, which takes place in mid-August…an excuse for the whole area to party!
Beaches - There are excellent beaches within a 25-minute drive from Creissan. These include Valras, Serignan, Cap d'Agde and Narbonne.
Canoeing and River Sports - Head for either Réals (near Creissan) or Roquebrun in the Parc Régional du Languedoc.
Equestrian - There is an equestrian centre within a few minutes' walk from the villa.
Wine and Vineyards - The village is in the heart of the Saint Chinian Region, which now produces some of France's best wines. There are vineyards throughout the locality and all are happy to welcome visitors.
Domaine de Roueïere - 2 kms from the house, makes excellent wine, has its own wine museum and a top class restaurant.
Chateau Creissan - in the village, renowned local wine-maker.
Chateau Moulin de Ciffre - excellent vineyards between Saint Chinian and Faugères.
Cave Co-operative - in Saint Chinian.
