Introduction
This exclusive French holiday villa in Valras-Plage, Hérault is large enough for two families and still has room to spare. Valras-Plage is one of the unspoilt holiday destinations on the French Mediterranean South Coast, conveniently located between Montpellier and Perpignan. Béziers is the nearest city only 15 km away.
The villa is set in a residential area ensuring the peace and quiet that you deserve during your holiday. Shops, beaches, restaurants and nightlife is not more than 5 minutes walk away, giving you the maximum comfort without the need of a car during your stay.
With 4 large double bedrooms it can easily accommodate 8 people. Complete with a fully equipped Kitchen, large Lounge and Dining area, 5 x 10m pool and diving board, 2 Patio areas, Garage and driveway parking and all just 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops and restaurants.
The villa is semi detached, luxurious and very large. It is built in a light modern style with traditional French stonewash-terracotta coloured exterior. Facing East, South and West with a bright and sunny garden throughout the day. The garden is mainly paved and has numerous colourful Mediterranean flowerbeds, mature palm trees and citrus trees. Walls and patios are also decorated with lush and fresh scented flowerpots.
All rooms are newly decorated in a fresh and light Mediterranean style, no expense has been spared. All floors in the villa are tiled with pale terracotta tiles. Majority of the windows have white wooden shutters. The mix of terracotta tiles and oak woodwork shows the truly genuine high standard throughout.



Accommodation
Ground Floor:
The Entrance hall - Leading to stairs, lounge, kitchen and has a small toilet
The Lounge - Links to hallway, front and back patio areas. With the dining area this is the heart of the house
The Kitchen - Seating arrangements for all guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, oven, microwave and fridge freezer
The Garage and The Utility room - Accessed from the front of the house and the kitchen. The Utility room is a separate part of the garage and holds a washing machine and other utilities
First Floor:
The Golden Room - Double bedroom. Being the master bedroom, this is the biggest of the bedrooms with en-suite sink
The Green Room - Double bedroom. This is the smallest of the bedrooms (still large) and is the only bedroom without built-in wardrobes (making this suitable for younger members in the party)
The Red Room - Double bedroom. This is a large room, which also holds access to the balcony of the property with views over the pool and the town
The Yellow Room - Double bedroom. Large bedroom located at the end of the first floor hallway
The main Bathroom - Immediately left from the stairs. Comprises a shower, bath, sink, bidet and WC
Second Floor:
Private rooms - used for owner's storage and so are off limits to the guests
The Patios and The Pool area:
The Dining patio - Located on the East side of the villa allowing secluded and sunny breakfasts and is the preferred choice for other outdoor meals. The area is accessed from the villa through the kitchen or lounge giving it full use throughout the day. There is a purpose built Paella and BBQ stall in one of the corners of this 70-sqm patio. This patio area also has a few sun beds and deckchairs and a purpose built shaded area for those cool siestas
The Pool patio - Located on the South side of the villa is sunny throughout the day. The patio holds a number of deckchairs, sun beds and a table. This area is mainly for sunbathing and access the pool, but is also perfect for snacks and drinks during the day. The area between the Pool and dining patios is accessed thru a gate that can be locked
The Pool, measuring 5 x 10 meters and depths from 1.2 m to 2.0 m. Complete with diving board and water jet. Spotlights throughout the patio and pool give a very pretty and romantic light during the night
The front is beautifully decorated with palm trees, flowerbeds and ornaments. The premises of the property are bordered with a wall in the same style as the house. The premises are only accessed through the car gate and walkway gate - this is an important comfort factor for the families with children

Local Information
Apart from the beach that stretches for over 4 kilometres of golden sands, there is a vast collection of activities in or nearby Valras-Plage such as water sports; Sailing and sailing schools, Windsurfing, Deep Sea Fishing and normal Fishing, Water ski, Jet ski, Diving, Boating and Sea Excursions.
There are also plenty of other activities such as Wineries, Tennis, Mountain bike trails, Hiking, Camping, 4x4 Excursions, Karting, Horse riding, Mini Golf, Fitness studios, Canoeing and Kayaking.
Children have access to Beach Clubs, Children Leisure Centres, Fairgrounds, Farm Zoo and Aqualand amongst others.
Make sure not to miss out on the interesting shopping experiences that are in the area. You will find that there are exciting Open Markets, Covered Markets, Antique shops and even Supermarkets. Local Wine shops, often at the growers themselves.
Béziers - in the centre is the Allée Paul Riquet, a grand plaza with open-air cafes. On the top of the hill in the old village, overlooking the city and the surrounding countryside, is the Cathedrale St.Nazaire. Béziers derives its livelihood from the local wine trade but is best known for its passion for rugby and bullfights.
Agde - an old Greek fishing port. It is 3 kilometres from the sea on the Hérault River. The buildings in the old village are
constructed of black basalt, from the volcanic rock in the area.
Cap d'Agde is a vintage late 60's tourist area with good beaches.
Sète - an age-old Mediterranean fishing port and well worth the visit. If you drive to Sète from Marseillan Plage, on your right is the Mediterranean sea, and on the left the Etang de Thau, the area's principal shell fishing farm. A " must visit " place is Mont St. Clair, the "mountain" overlooking Sète. There is a lovely chapel, and a lookout, which provides views into Spain on a clear day.
Bouzigues - cradle of the shellfish farming, small and typically Mediterranean fishing village, invites you to discover conchylicole farms, working places of the " sea farmers ". You can visit the oyster beds, which made famous the name of the village, and be tempted by a tasting.
Mèze - is a coastal village on the Etang de Thau, and one of the shellfish centres. If you like oysters and mussels, go here.
Pézenas - At the famous Saturday open market in this historic town you will hear French, English, Swedish, Dutch, German and Spanish. The town is the home of Molière, although he lived there for only seven years. Plenty of shops, restaurants and beautiful old buildings. An interesting place to take a stroll.
Montpellier - The capital of the region, Montpellier is a sophisticated modern city, which surrounds a very well preserved historical centre.
In the centre is the Place de la Comédie, a well-known open plaza where there is always something interesting going on. Home to one of France's best symphony orchestras and a resident opera, as well as some 20,000 university students, Montpellier has shopping, restaurants, theatre, promenades, and one-way streets that will have you pulling your hair out. Definitely worth the visit !
Carcassonne - A truly magnificent medieval walled city with ramparts, craft shops, restaurants, and a 12th century chateau. The largest fortress in Europe, it's a superb sight.
The Pont du Gard - The highest aqueduct the Romans ever built, to carry water 50 km from Uzès to Nîmes. One of the most impressive monuments in the world.
