Introduction
This is a very stylish property with a real flavour of being deep amongst the southern French vineyards. Very tastefully furnished with a mixture of old and new, 'Les Remparts' has many original features and lovely views across the countryside to both the 'Montagnes Noires' and the Pyrenees.
4 bedrooms to sleep 8.
The walled courtyard has a private swimming pool with sunbathing terrace and loungers. Large shaded terrace with two barbecues and further terrace for those lengthy French dining experiences. The whole courtyard is beautifully lit at night creating a unique and unforgettable ambiance.
Just steps from the imposing, double arched gateway into the winding streets of the village with its traditional bakery, butcher / charcuterie, newsagent and picture-postcard café-bar.
Mediterranean beaches, all super child-friendly with water sport facilities and huge choice of waterside cafés and restaurants just 30 minutes away
Puimisson dates back to medieval times and remains unspoilt and relatively undiscovered by tourism. The village is one of the famous 'circulade' villages in the Languedoc - the ancient houses constructed in a spiral fashion outwards from the centre.
Further appeal comes from the 'Vignerons de Puimisson'. This is the heart of wine country and the village prides itself on some of the best in the region. Ample opportunities for buying and tasting, especially at any of the numerous fetes that the community holds throughout the summer.
