The villa is situated at the top of a hill together with three other houses, all overlooking the vineyards and valley below.

Less than one minute walk to the welcoming 'Bel Air' restaurant and café bar. Three minute walk into the beautiful medieval village of Faugères.

Superb location for wine lovers and those who love the beach and countryside. Faugères is on the edge of the spectacular Languedoc National Park, while glorious Mediterranean beaches are just 40 minutes away.

Map & local information

The medieval village of Faugères remains completely unspoilt amongst the beautiful Languedoc vineyards. A population of around only 500 ensures peace and tranquillity.

A short drive to the north brings you to Lake Salagou, ideal for swimming or having a lazy picnic. For more adventurous types, there is great walking and hiking in the Black Mountains.

To the south is of course the Mediterranean with its endless sandy beaches and the opportunity to try your hand at all water sports.

A less strenuous activity is enjoying the range of beach-front cafés or seafood restaurants.

The chic resorts of Sète and Cap d'Agde are within one hour of the house.

The children will love AQUALAND, the huge the water park at Cap d'Agde. Béziers hosts a huge range of shops and restaurants and an excellent 18 hole golf course, while there is riding and river rafting within 20 minutes of Faugères.

Four airports within 90 minutes are serviced by Ryanair flights; Montpellier, Nimes, Perpignan and Carcassonne.

• * Sterling & Dollar rates are provided ONLY as a guide - all rentals are payable in EUROS.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property above, per week.
• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach towels).
• Please note electricity and heating are not included November to end April.
• No smoking in the property.
