Introduction
This superb manor-type property sits in the beautiful, traditional wine-producing village of Cazedarnes, deep in the Languedoc vineyards.
The large house has been beautifully restored throughout to a very high standard by the current and charming English owners who occupy the ground floor and have a 2 bedroom B&B.
The rental accommodation occupies the first floor of the house and is all extremely private and independent with separate access through the courtyard.
Three bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms ensure a superb level of comfort. Large and private roof terrace has panoramic, south-facing views over the vineyards and countryside and is ideal for alfresco dining.
Guests have exclusive use of the 10 x 5m swimming pool.
Beautiful area with lots to see and discover. Majestic vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see in this superbly tranquil setting. The famous and delightful town of St Chinian lies just minutes away and has an array of lovely cafés, restaurants, shops and almost endless wine outlets.
Mediterranean beaches only 40 mins. Alternatively, superb river swimming is close by together with rafting, canoeing and stunning scenery.
A very warm welcome awaits in this most picturesque corner of the Languedoc vineyards.

Local Information
Cazedarnes is a charming, picturesque, wine-producing village (population 397) situated 8 km from St Chinian and approx 25 mins from the Mediterranean coast. Bread van visits twice a day !
Budget airlines fly to local airports Carcassonne, Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan, all within 90 mins.
The famous and beautiful town of St Chinian is the nearest port of call for all amenities. Here you'll find many pavement cafés and traditional restaurants. Bank with cash machine, supermarket, bakery, chemist, and many superb wine outlets that will spoil you with a huge choice of local vintages.
This region, the Hérault, has something for everyone. Quiet villages, gourmet restaurants, wine domains, chateaux, museums, cathedrals, beaches, night life and of course shopping. It's an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in a history dating back over two thousand five hundred years to the original Greek and Roman settlements. The beautiful river Orb is also nearby.
Béziers is only 20 minutes away. And Narbonne is 40 minutes drive, with its magnificent Cathedral, excellent restaurants, and Roman ruins. The Canal du Midi - offering superb walks - is 30 minutes away. And within 35 minutes, you reach the Mediterranean and many superb beaches.
Maison Hirondelles is surrounded by chateaux and domains for tasting and buying the stupendous Faugères and St. Chinian wines.
Twenty-five minutes takes you to Béziers and 12th century churches such as the Cathedral of St. Nazaire. It also offers 19th century theatre, art galleries, restaurants and bars.
The Canal du Midi, created in 1667, is a wonderful way to pass a day, meandering along on a barge under the shade of the magnificent plane trees.
There are wonderful walks in the hills and the perfumed garrigue, with the climate so mild it is perfect throughout the year.
Golf is a forty five minute drive away in the wonderful spa town of Lamalou les Bains, famous from way back in the 17th century for its healing waters.
Twenty five minutes and you reach the beaches of Serignan and Valras Plage and miles of golden sand with that famous warm blue sea.
The gite is easy driving distances from the bustling and elegant towns of Montpellier, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Perpignan - and only a three hour drive will take you over the Spanish border to the delights of Barcelona!
