Holiday villa with private pool, Les Bambous.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Nancy and Michel's beautifully-maintained house in the lovely Hérault. The house was spacious, airy and very clean. The garden was immaculate and we particularly loved the fresh vegetables growing out the back. (The tomatoes were amazing!) The pool was the perfect temperature and a pleasure to splash around in. Apart from the house, the region is full of treasures, from Béziers to Pézanas. The local wine was a particular treat....excellent in quality but not as expensive as the Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. And the local restaurants were a delight!

Les Bambous is a truly special setting, meaning our family holiday was nothing less than perfect. Being a family home meant that the property was well equipped for everything that you may need for a stress-free, comfortable and relaxing holiday. The lay out of the home lent itself to easy living, with beautiful grounds including a super, clean swimming pool; delicious fruit and vegetables (which we were lucky enough to sample on the barbecue) plenty of outdoor entertaining space and a tranquil garden, encouraging local wildlife. It's location also meant that visits to main towns / cities and supermarkets were accessible, with ease. Our family of four, including our two teenage boys, were welcomed warmly by Nancy and Michel who ensured that we had everything that we would need for our stay. A holiday property which really should not be overlooked and understated!

We spent 2 weeks at the wonderful Les Bambous with our 4 children. Nancy and Michel were so welcoming and greeted us on our arrival. The house and grounds were kept to a high standard. From the start we could see this is a well loved and cared for home. Being a large family of 6, ranging from 2 years old to 19 years old, the house gave us plenty of space to relax together. The children enjoyed their time in the pool which is fenced and secure, a huge plus when holidaying with young children. When not in the pool they had great fun playing hide and seek and picking the tomatoes and strawberries from the garden. With their own playroom in the conservatory they were never bored. Happy children meant happy parents. Sunny evenings were spent on the terrace enjoying BBQ's and locally produced wine. The upstairs space worked well for the 2 older children giving them a little privacy and independence. When we managed to tear ourselves away from Les Bambous we found plenty of things to see and places to go. Beautiful beaches within half hours drive. The local supermarket, Super U, only a few kilometres away, was fantastic, made life easy, great meat and fresh produce as well as all necessary home comforts. We can't stress enough how much of a wonderful, idyllic location this is. We flew from London to Montpellier and hired a car from there, stress free journey having driven across France on a previous holiday. We would like to thank Nancy and Michel for their hospitality and providing us with an amazing place to stay! We will be back one day.

Spent two wonderful vacation weeks with fantastic weather in this villa. Les Bambous is a very nice house and you feel at home straight away welcomed by the most friendly owners. You could tell that it also is a real family home, very well equipped and more cared for compared to a villa just used for rentals.
The garden with the pool is beautiful with several different places where you could sit and relax. Really enjoyed the terrace where we had some great BBQ dinners in the evenings. Would highly recommend this villa.

Les Bambous is a great house with excellent facilities and is well serviced with all of the equipment, bedding and everything necessary for a two week holiday. The pool was very good and it was possible to sit in the sun or shade with ease depending on what you wanted. The office space provided upstairs was a great benefit to me for keeping in touch with work with email etc..

We enjoyed a fantastic couple of weeks here as a family of six including two boys aged five and two. 'Les Bambous' is a very clean and well equipped house (with Wi-Fi) owned by very welcoming and caring owners. We enjoyed relaxing and playing in their beautiful garden and clean, well-maintained pool. The village itself has lots of quiet tracks winding through the local vineyards which our tractor- and wildlife-mad boys loved exploring as well as the outstanding swimming pool in nearby Servian. Many happy days were also spent building sandcastles and looking for fish and crabs at the spacious and family friendly beach in Vias-Plage only 25 minutes away. The owners have done a lot of research and left folders of most of the local attractions which also pointed us in the right direction. We had a great holiday and would not hesitate to return.

We really enjoyed using the pool, the house and garden - the property is very well equipped and is very nice indeed. We loved eating our evening meals and having barbeques in the garden. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a perfectly marvelous time on holiday in the beautiful home of Les Bambous. The place was fantastic, the kids loved it, it was very well looked after and everything was made so easy for us and we care looking forward to returning as soon as we can. The photos do not do the place justice!
