With beautiful views of the medieval village of Laurens and its château, this two storey villa offers 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a lawned garden and private pool.

Laurens is a hugely picturesque, traditional, wine-producing village, part of the famous 'Faugères' appellation. For wine lovers, there is a fantastic outlet shop just outside the village.

In the village itself, just a 2 minute walk from the villa, is a newsagent, two bakeries, café bar, pharmacy and grocery store.
On the outskirts of the village is the 'Château de Grézan' - a fortified château which houses a superb restaurant.

The villa offers spacious accommodation; large living room with balcony views across the vineyards towards the château, floodlit at night. 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Ground floor summer kitchen and summer living room open to large dining terrace and pool area.

The property is located in a quiet, residential area in the village of Laurens. Laurens is situated midway between Montpellier and St Chinian, 30 min from the Mediterranean coast and 20 min from Béziers.

Laurens village (2 min walk) with two bakeries, grocery store, café bar, butcher, chemist, and newsagent. Large wine outlet. Famous restaurant and wine producing domaine, 'Château Grézan' (2 km). Further excellent restaurants (inc pizzeria), bars and supermarket in Magalas, 5 min.

Faugères windmills with spectacular views (10 mins).

Mediterranean beaches (30 mins) Golf at Beziers and Lamalou-les-Bains (20 mins). River swimming and kayaking in Reals (20 mins). Excellent walking, trekking, spectacular scenery in the Languedoc National park (25 mins).

Beziers (20 mins) for hypermarkets, further restaurants and bars, shopping, markets. Pézenas (20 mins), a beautiful town with period architecture, artisan shops, winding streets, wonderful Saturday market. Concerts and summer festivals.

Olargues village 'one of the most beautiful villages in France' (30 mins). Lovely drive with fantastic scenery.

Cap d'Agde (45 mins) for nightclubs, harbour side restaurants, further beaches, water sports, boat trips, golf and big water park.

Pont du Gard (1hr 30 mins).

Spain! (1 hr 30 mins) Barcelona 2 hrs 30 mins.

• Bookings include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach towels).
• Like many villages in this region Laurens is a well-known wine producing village and during the grape harvest there may be associated activities occurring in the vicinity of the villa.
