The property lies on in open countryside, surrounded by vineyards and woodland with no immediate neighbours on an unmade road, 5 minutes from the village of Montagnac, and 15 min from Pézenas. Coast is just 10 min away at Mèze.

Mèze lies on the edge of the famous 'Bassin de Thau' - (a lake separated from the Mediterranean coast by a long stretch of beach), between Sète and Agde. Montpellier airport 25 mins, Carcassonne airport 75 min.

Mèze is a huge producer of oysters and therefore has an abundance of seafood restaurants and small oyster shacks on the side of the road. All shops and supermarkets. Lovely harbour with overlooking restaurants.

Montagnac village (5 min) with shops and café bars etc.

Award-winning, super child-friendly beaches at Marseillan Plage, 15 min. In Marseillan village, there are many more restaurants and shops, and also the producing caves of Noilly-Prat.

The neighbouring village to Mèze is the oyster capital of France. Bouzigues (15 min drive) of course has some great restaurants!

Huge range of things to see and place to visit in the immediate area. This region of France is the country's biggest wine producer, so there are endless opportunities to visit small and large wine domaines to taste and purchase the local wines.

The towns of Pézenas (15 min), Sète (20 min) and Agde (20 min) are all worth a visit and are quite charming.

The fashionable resort of Cap d'Agde is 25 min away. Under the beautiful Languedoc sun, it offers possibly the greatest range of activities and beaches to be found on the whole Mediterranean coast. Great waterside cafés and restaurants, fashionable nightlife and endless entertainments, sports and amusements for all ages:
