The property sits in wide open countryside five minutes from the hamlet of Castanet-la-Haut, 10 min from the market town of St Gervais-sur-Mare, 45 min from Béziers, 55 min from the Mediterranean coast.

St Gervais lies on the famous Compostella trail and sits in a beautiful valley on the edge of the National Park. Here you will find café and bar and brasserie, bakery and grocery store. With dramatic scenery all around, you will be spoiled for choice for outdoor activities.

All amenities including large supermarket, restaurants, cafés, market stores etc in Hérépian / Bédarieux 30 - 40 min.

The Gorges d'Héric 40mins offer a spectacular visit and there are endless hills and trails to discover all on your very doorstep.

Follow the history of the Cathars on the gentle drive down to the Spanish border (2 hrs) or head East for all the riches of Provence. Avignon and its famous Papal Palace are only 2 1/2 hours away.
RyanAir flies into local airports; Béziers, Montpellier, Nîmes, Carcassonne and Perpignan. TGV train from London to nearby Béziers.
