Biscarrosse lies just 60 min from Bordeaux and less than 10 minutes from the expansive, sandy beaches of Biscarrosse Plage.

Only 2 min away is the fantastic Sanquinet Lake with sandy beaches and watersports and restaurants.

All amenities in Biscarrosse; 3 supermarkets, bakeries, bars, restaurants etc.
Winners of the 'France in Bloom' competitions, you can discover Biscarrosse's pedestrianised area, with its cafés and restaurants. The market is held every Friday and Sunday mornings.

The famous and chic resort of Arcachon is less than 30 minutes away and don't miss a visit to spectacular Cap Ferret.

The Arcachon Basin;
Here you will find a string of oyster fishing villages where tradition and modern lifestyle are well mixed. Within half an hour's drive north along the coast you can visit Les Dunes des Pilat (the largest sand dunes in Europe), the Arcachon Basin with its picturesque towns and villages and the fashionable seaside resorts of Arcachon, Le Moulleau, Pyla-Sur-Mer and Perreira.

Bordeaux and the Vineyards;
From Arcachon, take the train to Bordeaux and spend a day discovering this wonderful town, steeped in its architectural heritage.

St Emilion;
Spend a day in a jewel of stones in a setting of magical vineyards. St Emilion, with more than one kilometre of ramparts still preserved, belongs to the limited group of medieval towns still surrounded by walls, such as Aigues-mortes, Avignon, Boulogne, Carcassonne, Cordes, Dinan, Domme, Fougères, Guérande, Montreuil-Bellay, Le Mont St-Michel, Provins, St-Malo, Vannes... Only Provins and Saint Emilion still own town walls that are representative of the Romanesque period (12th and 13th centuries). In that sense, the walls of Saint-Emilion are an exceptional heritage.

• Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am and include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).

"We loved this house. Usually after a self catering holiday I love to go home where (generally!) everything works and I have everything I need. Not this time - linen, towels, furnishings are all beautiful, washing machine and tumble dryer work, pool is perfect, more than enough pool loungers and parasols. Kitchen very well equipped.
The owners are generous - kitchen towel, foil, cling film, dishwasher tablets, loo-roll, soap, glue, shopping bags - the things you forget about are all provided.
It is a spacious house, definitely first class not economy and furnishings are new, comfortable and attractive."
