Introduction

This stylish property is actually two large villas joined by one grand hallway. This makes this property ideal for very large groups of two families or more.

You also have the added advantage of two well equipped kitchens, one of which has range cooker and American fridge, which dispenses ice for your poolside drinks!

The 3/4 acre of garden has pretty fruit trees and stunning views. There is also a children's play area and a boules area for the competitive pre-dinner challenge.

The villa is exceedingly well equipped and comprises of 8 large bedrooms and 5 bath / shower rooms.

As well as two attractive indoor dining rooms, one with an open log fireplace, you also have two outside dining terraces, both with private barbecues. One terrace overlooks the pool.

From the villa you're only a 5 minute drive to the bustling French spa town of Le Boulou, which is well equipped with shops, bars and restaurants.

If you can tear yourself away from the poolside, you're only a 15 minute drive to the lovely Mediterranean beach at Argeles. In fact all along this stretch of coastline, you'll be spoilt for choice of beaches and pretty ports, which are steeped in Catalan history.

Spain and the Tax free border town of Le Perthus is less than 15 minutes drive and the vibrant city of Barcelona is under two hours away.

You are not only completely spoilt by the long sunny days here but the scenery is both breathtaking and diverse.

Obviously you can spend your days just admiring the scenery from the comfort of your sun bed by the pool. However, should you wish to venture out, you can plan you excursions for trips of between 15 minutes and no more than 2 hours.

15 minutes - 1 hour:

The Coast. Here you begin your extensive choice of the Mediterranean coastline.

Go east and you have the wonderful sandy beaches at Argelès and St-Cyprien where you have, Horse riding, Walking, Climbing and St Cyprien Championship Golf Course plus numerous water sports activities and a large water park.

Or go West and the scenery changes dramatically, from the long sandy beaches to pretty rocky coves and the steep hillsides of the Côte Vermeille. Here you have the harbour town of Collioure, one of the prettiest on the Mediterranean.

Into the foothills of the Pyrenees. The further you go towards the Spanish border, the more alpine the scenery and you really feel that you're in Catalan country, with the lovely spa town of Amelie les Bains and the picturesque Catalan town of Céret, which is famous throughout France for its delicious plump red cherries.

1-2 hours:

With the Spanish border less than 15 minutes drive away, why not journey into Spain for the day. Barcelona is only 2 hours away.

Why not drive to one of the ski resorts in the Pyrenees, the most famous being Font Romeu, this is the highest town in France (1,800m). In winter it is a busy ski resort, however, it is also a lovely town to visit even in summer, with the peaks being a blanket of wild herbs and flowers.
