The property is located between the villages of Couches and Saint-Leger-sur-Dheune, near to Chalon and Cluny.
Local amenities (5 min) include weekly markets, restaurants, shops, boulangeries and supermarkets. Larger markets are available near-by at Beaune and Chalon.

Beaune (30 min) is the wine capital of Burgundy. Visits available to all the famous vineyards including Chassagne and Pommard.

Comprising the main country house and garden cottage, accommodation is of a high quality throughout and can sleep up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms.

The property is situated in open countryside, approximately 30 min from Chalon-sur-Saone.
Fresh bread, two restaurants and a supermarket and take-away restaurant are just 5 minutes away.

There are several renowned restaurants in the area, including Lameloise , the 3 Michelin star restaurant, just 15 minutes driving in Chagny.

Within 30 minutes you can be in the towns of Beaune, Autun or Chalon sur Saone.
Beaune is the wine capital of Burgundy. Visits available to all the famous vineyards including Chassagne and Pommard.

Traditional street markets in local villages every day of the week. One of the best is in Beaune on Saturday and Chalon on Sunday.

Wine lovers will be in paradise ! Many of the large wine houses can be visited, for example Pommard (red) and Meursault (white). In most villages you will find a cellar to visit, or see the wine farmers about their daily chores in the fields

At less than 30km from us there are 4 golf courses: Montchanin 18 holes, Levernois 18 holes, Chalon 18 holes en Autun 12 holes.

There are several balloon rides possible in the area. A great way to see the area from the air. This is for early risers and reservation is needed.

Horse riding nearby.

The area around montdulievre is hilly, from here you walk straight into the vineyards with magnificent views of rolling country hills

• Property perhaps not suitable for toddlers due to open balustrades on terrace.
