The chateau dominates the view from whichever direction you approach; the baronial entrance hall is equally as stunning - a huge, vaulted room welcomes you in with its coats of arms, suits of armour and huge fireplace and banquet table.

Initial impressions are probably overwhelming, but a full discovery of the chateau reveals a superbly comfortable and quite realistic accommodation for a wonderful and unforgettable summer holiday. There's over 1,500²m of interior living space with homely living rooms and a professional kitchen, grandiose and historic reception rooms and 7 bedrooms, all in traditional style, yet all with ensuite bathrooms and large, comfortable beds.

A lawned, interior courtyard offers a fantastic alfresco dining area with wonderful views. Great suntrap too !

Rental rate includes maid service 3 times a week. The managers of the Chateau live within the grounds and will arrange all support if and when required. Optional services include;

The property is located in open countryside (on the top of a prominent hill !) 5 mins outside the pretty town of Valence d'Agen.

Valence d'Agen is situated almost midway between Bordeaux and Toulouse in the beautiful Tarn and Garonne region south of the Dordogne.

Valence d'Agen is a lovely, bustling town with all amenities including restaurants, café bars, supermarkets, bakeries and all shops.

This is a truly beautiful part of France; the Tarn and Garonne is the natural link between the rolling green countryside of the Dordogne and the Mediterranean climate and culture of the true south of France. Here you'll find many stunning villages with traditional restaurants and heritage.
Where local produce and traditional markets take precedent over the supermarkets.

Toulouse lies just over an hour away, Bordeaux 1h 45 mins.
