Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

The property is situated in the small medieval village of Cailhavel, 25 minutes from Carcassonne and 85 minutes from Toulouse.

Excellent local restaurant 4 km. All amenities in Belvèze-du-Razès, 6 km with pharmacy, bakery, butcher, grocery store, newsagent, café and pizzeria.

All shops and restaurants in Montréal, 7 km and Bram, 12 km.

Supermarket and excellent restaurants in Limoux, 17 km.

Carcassonne, 20 minutes with its famous and spectacular old citadel with great shops, cutural events and restaurants. Lake with beaches at La Cavayère.

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks at La Fontaine. Your property is set in such a beautifully tranquil location and you have done it out so tastefully. We also appreciated that you are so trusting of people who rent it. Furthermore, we very much valued help from Marjorie and Dave with a couple of minor problems.
Obviously, we are now subject to the UK's quarantine restrictions, but we feel this is a small price to pay for the lovely time we had. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at La Fontaine.

Beautiful property with the most magnificent view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Pool was perfect. Lovely walk to next village cross country to a little restaurant is well worth doing. Takes about 45 minutes. Truly beautiful scenery around the house like being in a Van Gogh painting! We would definitely go back.

We are having a fantastic time here. I think your house is possibly the best house we've stayed in in France over the years. Yes, it's just fabulous!
We've had a really fantastic week here and I'm pretty sure we'll be wanting to come back next year. Your house has been so generous... I've read some books here, loved looking through the coffee table books too. Your welcome basket was the most generous we've ever received in any of the houses we have rented. Allowing us to use pool towels as well. And I know it sounds a bit like a hotel review but the bed linen / towels and bathrooms were just top quality!
Taking a break from it now to start packing up!
P.S. We went to Le Moulin for lunch and it was superb.
We will be in touch to hopefully book same week again next year.
