Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is set in open countryside, 5 km from Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat and Salviac 5 km and 15 km from Gourdon.

Gourdon has all amenities including restaurants, supermarket and all shops and café bars.

Hot air ballooning, various local companies. Micro-lite air craft and light aircraft flights available from Sarlat - Domme aerodrome.

Paintball, very good site near La Roque-Gageac. La Roque-Gageac is a stunningly beautiful village under the towering cliffs. The village regularly wins France's 'Prettiest Village' competition. Good canoeing centre here.

Competing with La Roque-Gageac in the prettiness stakes is the village of Carennac. Elevated just above the South bank of the river, it is best known for its typical Quercy architecture and Romanesque priory. Further Romanesque art at the Saint-Pierre church in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.

Perhaps the most famous of the Dordogne tourist attractions are the cave paintings around Les Eyzies. There are more pre-historic caves in this area than you could ever visit in a day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pechimbert. We were two families with two teenage boys and two young girls. The property was spacious and well equipped with a large fridge freezer and covered eating area outside. Bedrooms were air conditioned which was lovely in the heat. Large heated swimming pool which gets the sun all day long.

Pechimbert is a rural isolated property with plenty of local walking. Early morning runs will almost always catch site of the Roe deer. 10 minutes away is the essential French bakery and patisserie, which was excellent!

Property is within easy reach of the Dordogne river where we canoed or visited a lovely beach at Vitrac. Plenty of châteaux to see locally or within strike or Rocamadour/ Gouffre de Padirac which were amazing.

An amazing holiday. Thank you Frédéric for your advice on local wines and visit to Vitrac.

The countryside is super quiet! The rooms are big, the house is so beautiful, the spa is huge and the swimming pool is awesome. We enjoyed all of it. We also discovered electric bikes, it was great and we did several long rides. We went canoeing ; our arms and buttocks ached but we won the race.
