Holiday accommodation with private pool, Maison La Cèze.

We had a wonderful time here. Heat wave the first week, thunder storms the second! Lovely grounds and house ; not forgetting the amazing pool! All in a terrific location.
A warm welcome from Jacky and Hélène. Thoughtful gifts to greet us on arrival and a delicious meal. Nothing was too much trouble and they often popped in to make sure everything was okay.

We have had a fabulous fortnight which has passed too quickly!
We have really enjoyed the house, garden, pool, tennis court, table tennis, pool table and bikes. We hardly needed to go out but enjoyed trips to the Ardèche for canoeing, Avignon, Orange and to local villages including Lusson and La Roque sur Cèze as well as the market at St Ambroix. Also, a couple of visits of Nîmes to pick up / drop off children!
Most of all we appreciated your very warm hospitality - your gifts of vegetables, your help with everything, lovely aperitifs and especially taking us to the Musée du Désert and the Bamboo centre - which we found really interesting and would recommend to others.
We've had a great two weeks - and dind't want to leave!

Very nice stay, very nice weather.
We did explore the neighbourhood - Alès, market in Saint-Ambroix and up to Barjac. Highlights were the view from Le Guidon du Bouquet (although not brave enough to hang-glide), gentle canoeing down the Cèze (Cap de Canoë) and caving at the Grotte de Salamandre - recommend the back stage tour: terrifying in the best way. This sounds like we did a lot but what we enjoyed the most was hanging out in La Maison - making full use of the tennis court, the piano (out of tune), the pool, pétanque, the pool table, bikes, table tennis... wine, beer, vegetables, cheese and saucisson! Thank you very much.

This is such a beautiful and peaceful villa. The grounds are so spacious and we all could find a quiet spot to relax in. The swimming pool was amazing, we used it every day and had lots of fun and games in it. Tennis court, well used equally. Also, thank you for the delicious home grown produce. Pont d'Arc and Ardèche Gorge stunning as well as the amphitheatre at Nîmes.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We have had a wonderful and relaxing week and we would love to come back again. We have loved the stunning scenery and enjoyed visiting the Chauvet caves and the Ardèche gorge. Barjac was a lovely town and we had a good meal there and also in the Guinguette de Rochegude. We really appreciated using the bikes to explore the countryside and our morning ride to St Victor de Malcap to buy breakfast was fun! Thank you again.

We came to stay here tired and in need of a good break and left feeling refreshed and fully recovered. The region is full of interest, wild life, history and markets which we enjoyed as much as sitting by the pool. The owners are great hosts and we had a warm welcome when we arrived and always knew help was available if it was needed.
We could certainly be recommending this place to our friends when we get back to Liverpool.

Thank you very much for your hospitality which has been very warm and generous. We have loved your outside spaces and made full use of the pool, table tennis and boules, not to mention the BBQ.
What a beautiful place this is and we have especially loved the local markets, Pont d'Arc, Pont du Gard and the Caves at Orgnac d'Aven are spectacular and well worth a visit.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed lounging around the pool and visiting various markets. The owners gave us fresh tomatoes and bread. As well as showing us around Nîmes. We enjoyed their company at home and at a restaurant by River La Cèze. Overall our 2 week holiday has been beautiful in the gorgeous heat and countryside. We will definitely stay here again!

Thank you for very warm welcome. The house is beautiful - especially the exterior and our children enjoyed many hours in the pool and took great interest in the local wildlife!
Highlights of the trip included Cap Canoe - a great introduction for a 5 and 8 year old and visiting Pont du Gard (recommend the museum and guided tour as well as a swim in the river).

We all loved our stay here, beautiful garden and spectacular views all around. We spent lots of time in the pool which was wonderful. We visited Grotte de la Salamandre which was amazing and also le Pont d'Arc and les Gorges de l'Ardèche which were fabulous.
We walked and cycled too. The breeze was most welcome, the sunflowers and lavender totally awesome.

Lovely hosts. Made good use of the swimming pool, tennis court and bikes. Had some good meals out in Barjac. Visited local caves which was very enjoyable. Markets in Barjac (Friday) and Uzès (Saturday) were good. Uzès was a very big market. Great 2 weeks and would definitely come back to this area again.

Had a lovely 2 weeks relaxing in the sun at Maison La Cèze. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and attempting to play tennis every day. Explored the local towns of Rochegude and Saint Ambroix, the latter excellent for bread / croissants and a morning coffee. We also spent an exhausting day canoeing from Gorge d'Ardeche - highly recommended if you enjoy beautiful scenery, rapids and a chance to picnic outside. Had a lovely meal at Le Vieux Clocher, some wonderful traditional French food in a picturesque setting.
