Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is situated in open countryside between Mauvezin and L'Isle-Jourdain, 30 minutes West of Toulouse and its airport.

All amenities, including large supermarket, cashpoint, petrol station, pharmacy, bars and restaurant in Cadours, 10 minutes away.

Château Drudas, just 1.5 km from La Rouquette, has a restaurant for lunch and dinner, a spa, jacuzzi, sauna and treatment room.

Another 5 minutes drive takes you to the fabulous restaurant, 'The Road Snack' - great burgers at very reasonable prices.

Further, full amenities in Mauvezin and L’Isle Jourdain.

5 minute drive or 15 minutes walk to nearby hamlet Drudas. Château Drudas offers a hotel and a spa following a massive restoration of the 18th century château. The château has a restaurant for lunch and dinner, a spa, jacuzzi, sauna and treatment room.

L'Isle Jourdain;

An attractive town, only a 20 minutes drive away. There is a lake with water skiing, speedboat racing and a children's play area. There is golf, fantastic Saturday market and a number of good restaurants.

Michelin starred restaurant in Le Puits Saint-Jacques, only 10 minutes further on from L'Ilse Jourdain.

The Gers;

The most Westerly region of the 'Midi-Pyrénées', a vast and impressive mountain range, which can be seen from the top of the drive. The region is devoted to a agriculture, with rolling hills, shallow valleys and fields filled by turn with wheat, maize and sunflowers.

The landscape is dotted with small villages and traditional towns most with a central square 'hale' hosting market days and fêtes. Most of the towns have all the amenities required, including a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, butcher, bars and restaurants. All are worth exploring and easily reached by car. The house is nestled between two good sized towns Mauvezin and Gimond.

Mauvezin;

The town is located on a hill between the Gimone and Arratz rivers with a 14th century market hall. Monday is market day and the atmosphere is very buzzy with stalls offering fresh fruit and veg, flowers, cheese, fantastic fresh coffee to brew back at the house, local wines, Armagnac and even fashion items, crafts and jewellery. Mauvezin also plays host to the Summer Garlic festival which during the days exhibits sculpted garlic followed in the evening by dancing and the Miss Garlic competition! Throughout the summer there are day and evening events in the square from food tasting to antique fairs often with entertainment for the children including a fun fair, bouncy castle and disco.
