The property is situated in the centre of the small town of Monségur, between Duras 10 km and Marmande, 30 minutes. Susceptible to usual street noise.

As beautiful as the pictures are, they don't do the property justice; it really is stunning! Expertly renovated, stylishly decorated and lots of space. The garden is also stunning and the pool is perfect for lazy sunny days and entertaining children. The village is quiet and peaceful but with shops, restaurant, pubs and a bakery in very close proximity. The village was very relaxed and felt very safe and secure. The property was very clean, very well maintained with all the required mod-cons, including great WiFi for catching up with work. The customer service was fantastic and Mark and Sarah made us feel very much at home. We visited as a family of 3 (one daughter aged 5) and none of us wanted to leave! There was too much room for the 3 of us and the house would more than comfortably accommodate 6 people. We want to live in this house! The property is only an hours drive from Bordeaux Airport too and a very beautiful journey through lots of vineyards and beautiful French scenery. We will be back...probably taking friends with us next time and we would definitely recommend! Thank you Mark and Sarah!

The house you won't want to leave!

I have stayed in a lot of lovely villas and houses over the years, but this house has got to be my favourite so far. It is beautifully, carefully and stylishly designed and sits in the heart of Monsegur. If you are worried about it being noisy, don't be because they have windows that cut that out. No need to worry about drinking and driving either, everything is on your doorstep. Mark and Sarah were really nice and readily available to help us with any concerns we had. We are already talking about going back next year. Just fabulous!

Fabulously stylish house in super location to tour vineyards of Bordeaux. Monsegur is a bustling French village during August with lots of lively events and excellent restaurants right on the doorstep. Mark and Sarah were excellent hosts. The welcome pack was more than generous and much appreciated. Children loved the pool. Parents adored the house and furnishings. Highly recommended and would certainly hope to return.

The house is amazing and in a great location. Other than trying to understand the opening hours (bars and restaurants) we would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Superb house finished to a luxurious standard. We spent most of our time enjoying the secluded garden and pool that connects to the amazing kitchen. Big house , loads of space, good location to explore the area by car. Mark the owner made us feel welcome and the welcome pack was a very nice surprise. Have recommended to friends and would love to go back

This is a beautiful home with all the comforts you would expect in a hotel and all the French charm you could expect. We were a family of five and there was plenty of room for all. I would definitely stay there again, already trying to check what my holidays are for next year. Marcus was a wonderful host, leaving a fabulous welcome pack for our arrival

The house itself is a dream with a very nice very modern kitchen, spacious living room, dining room large enough for a family, and beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms

Outside there is a private garden very sunny, with trees loungers and a stunning pool

I was fortunate enough to stay at this property last July. What a fabulous house in a fabulous location, clean and highly maintained, catered for my every whim even down to the point where I typically arrived late to find a hamper of goodies (which saved my life). The owner greeted us and recommended places to wine, dine and visit, all of which were great. I would highly recommend this property and I am definitely going to come back here.

Wow!! A beautifully refurbished house with a great well equipped kitchen and living space and with all bedrooms having en-suite. facilities. The outside space with the pool and garden is a real plus and a great place to relax either all day or after a day exploring the local villages such as Eymet, Duras or St Emillion and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Being in the town centre and within walking distance of the local bars and restaurants was a real plus and a stroll round the old town fortifications with the views of the river and vineyards beyond well worth doing. Wonderful holiday in a great property. Will be booking again.
