The property dates back to the 15th century and underwent extensive restoration in 2007, leaving many of the original features fully intact.

5 minutes to the small village of Saint-Gervais-les-trois-clochers.

Saint-Gervais is midway between the larger towns of Châtellerault (20 minutes) and Richelieu (20 minutes).

Chinon, 40 minutes and Saumur, 1 hour.

Amenities in Saint-Gervais include a restaurant, bakery, mini-market, newsagent and pharmacy.

Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Châtellerault train station has direct 1h40 trains into Paris for day trips.

We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
