The Snow Leopard, documentary film

The Snow Panther is a documentary film by Marie Amiguet and Vincent Munier.

On screen, Sylvain Tesson, writer and explorer and Vincent Munier wildlife photographer.

Our film is an invitation to share, with us, some of the magical moments lived up there, in the heart of the Tibetan highlands.

Vincent Munier

Synopsis of the allocine website:

In the heart of the Tibetan highlands, photographer Vincent Munier leads writer Sylvain Tesson in his quest for the snow leopard. It introduces him to the delicate art of looking out, reading tracks and the patience necessary to catch a glimpse of the animals. While traveling the summits inhabited by invisible presences, the two men weave a dialogue about our place among living beings and celebrate the beauty of the world.

Our opinion:

A dive into the observation of the animal world. In this documentary, no omniscient narrator. And this is where all the beauty of the film lies, because we are not in the knowledge, nor in the action or even the interaction but only in the observation.

Stay in your place and become aware of the animal world that we observe and which above all observes us.

A dizzying documentary.
