Traditional village house with modern interior design in Languedoc-Roussillon.

This self-catering village house for 8 in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, now called Occitanie, was built in the 19th century as a wine-maker's house.
In the heart of the pretty village of Nissan-lez-Ensérune and only 20 minutes to the beach, the house is in a great location and was an ideal candidate for a renovation into a holiday home in this popular area in the South of France.

Modern, industrial style

The owner chose a contemporary, industrial style for the interior of this holiday home, with open plan kitchen, living and dining.

The steel and wooden staircase is a work of art, appearing to be held up by the metal strands strung down from above and lit underneath with soft purple lighting. The dining table mirrors the style with black steel and wooden top with stylish modern metal bar stool-style chairs.

Pendant lights above the dining table and in the lounge add extra texture to the space and the sleek contemporary white kitchen creates clean crisp lines. The grey floor tiles complement the neutral colour palette.

The holiday home is fully air-conditioned and has a private, heated pool. A lovely place to spend your family holiday in the South of France and walking distance to all amenities.
