Visit this stunning château in the Loire Valley and discover its fascinating history


One of the most beautiful and recognisable château in the Loire and with a fascinating history, Château de Chambord should be top of your list of Loire Château to visit on your holiday in France.

Contructed in the 16th century, the architecture was influenced by the work of Leonardo da Vinci and the building took 28 years to construct.

The formal gardens are also a sight to behold and we recommend allowing 3 hours minimum to explore the whole building and grounds.

Opening times for Château de Chambord are:
From 1st April to 31st October: 9am - 6pm
From 1st November to 30th March: 9am - 5pm

The entrance fee for Château de Chambord is:-
€13 per adult
Free for under 18s

Parking costs an additional €6
