Cebère - an art deco seaside town with hidden coves

Cebère is a small seaside town, popular all year round, but without mass tourism. The railway station is the last on the line on France before the Spanish border.

The art-deco hotel, Le Belvédère du Rayon Vert, built in the 1930s has welcomed Orson Welles, Michèle Morgan and Gina Lolobrigida.

The hotel gets its name from its lookout point from which Le Rayon Vert (The Green Flash) can be seen as the sun sets - made famous by the film by Eric Rohmer.

Rocky beaches with small coves are great to discover all year round. Scuba Diving available at the Cap Cebère Centre.

Lovely nature reserve also.
