Going green; free electric vehicle charging

GOING GREEN IN 2021

Many people of course already own an electric or hybrid vehicle. In December 2020, electric vehicles accounted for 19.2% of the passenger vehicle market in France. The Top 3 best selling electric cars in France in 2020 were; Renault Zoe Peugeot E-208 Tesla 3

The market will obviously expand in 2021 and people will be using their electric cars to travel to their holiday destinations. Increased charging points on autoroutes, in towns and at hotels are making long distance electric travel a lot easier. But what happens when you arrive at your holiday home and wish to use the car for daily outings to see the local sights and stock up with daily food (and wine) requirements? Many holiday rental homes charge supplements for electric charging - at Pure France for 2021 we are committed to a nationwide green campaign where electric vehicle charging will be free at all our self-catering holiday homes. One of the first properties to champion this scheme is a fabulous, restored priory in Lot et Garonne. The property has been featured in the magazine L’Essential de la Déco and offers high quality holiday rental accommodation for up to 10 people with a private pool in a countryside setting. Unlimited electric charging allows renters to take advantage of all the local amenties in Duras and the many superb wine domaines in the surrounding countryside, including the famous wine-producing village of Saint-Émilion, only 35 minutes away.
