La Grande-Motte, beach, activities and idleness

Only 30 minutes from Montpellier, La Grande-Motte is the only French city to be labeled "Heritage of the 20th century" in its entirety. Appreciated for its activities and its kilometers of beach, it is a young and dynamic city where the architecture is visionary. In the 1960s, Jean Balladur, the architect of La Grande Motte, was commissioned to create a desert site with marshes. You will discover the emblematic pink flamingos and perhaps the Loggerhead turtle which appears on the surface in summer.
