Les Gorges de la Carença

The Gorges de la Carença are located in the municipality of Thuès entre Valls. Winding trails, footbridges, suspension bridges, several levels of hikes and routes are accessible from the car park (paying). An out-of-the-ordinary experience for guaranteed thrills! Whatever the choice of your walk, which can range from 2 hours to several days, it will be an exceptional discovery.

Small walks: - Loop to El Fornàs (1h) - Stone bridge (5h) Long hikes: - Refuge de la Carança (9h round trip) - Lac de la Carança via the Carança refuge (2 to 3 days recommended)

Advice - Safety

Not recommended for people suffering from vertigo and children under 8 years old. The routes are in the mountains and present dangers (ledges, monkey bridges, footbridges). It is strongly recommended to be equipped with suitable equipment (good shoes) and to prepare your itinerary.
