The 3 cornices linking Nice to Menton

Connecting Nice to Menton, discovering breathtaking places and viewpoints. Let's discover the ledges that line the panoramic road. The Basse Corniche, the Moyenne Corniche, and the Grande Corniche... let's discover the most beautiful views!

The Lower Corniche

It crosses the coast and allows the discovery of elegant seaside resorts. Crossing the lower corniche leads to Cap d'Ail. The Basse Corniche walk starts from Port Lympia in Nice.

Towns to visit nearby:

The peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and the bay of Villefrance-sur-Mer with its colorful town and its world-famous harbour. Beaulieu-sur-Mer a chic village that transports you to another time.

The Moyenne Corniche, views of the coastal villages

It starts in the port district, at Place Max Barel. A breathtaking landscape when driving on the Moyenne Corniche with viewpoints available to us!

The road winds between cliffs, vegetation and coastal towns. Mandatory stop at the Exotic Garden of Eze Village to admire the best view.

You can complete your discovery by visiting the perfume laboratories installed in the village: with the Maisons Galimard and Fragonard. You can even create your own perfume.

The Grande Corniche, the one not to be missed!

It is located 400 meters above sea level and is the oldest road built under the order of Napoleon 1st. It is the best known, mythical and wild of the 3 corniches.

It is very popular for its natural settings. And often filmed for sporting events with a playground for car meetings, car launches or television reports. Every year the "Paris-Nice" cycling race also takes place there where the runners cross the mythical Col d'Eue which culminates at an altitude of 500 meters.
